Any other folks out there both DA and Girl Genius fans? Because sometime in the last week or so of new pages, I suddenly started having ideas about Gil, Tarvek, and Dupree being Anders, Fenris, and Isabela, and suddenly the shenanigans are even more amusing than before. 

(Which boy is Gil and which is Tarvek is open for debate. I keep changing my mind.)

(But Isabela is so totally Dupree. They’re sisters in spirit, really.)

(And of COURSE Hawke is Agatha.)

So I was thinking about this on the drive back from lunch, as you do, and trying to work out some way that Anders could be Gil to Hawke’s Agatha, mostly because of the physical resemblance. And then I realized: no, it’s the other way around. If the Spark is analogous to magic (and why wouldn’t it be?), then Anders isn’t Gil, he’s Agatha. The situation with Agatha and Lucrezia/the Other could totally be made to parallel Anders and Justice. Which makes Hawke into Gil, an idea that appeals to me on several levels.

That does leave out Tarvek, though, hmm.
