Partway through Chapter 2 (page 87). Spoilers!

• Thomazine is only 10 years old, I should not be shipping her with Francis. Or Tom. Or Jamie. And especially not Dominic. What is wrong with me?
• Speaking of Dominic: creepy. Definitely creepy. I didn’t think drawing her in and of itself was so bad, but everything after? Creepy.
• Aunt Hannah is going to be the worst mother-in-law of all time. OF ALL TIME.
• Great-Aunt Elizabeth is pretty awesome. How much does it suck for Thomazine that she gets stuck with Aunt Hannah while Francis gets to go hang out with Great-Aunt Elizabeth?
• I might have all kinds of meta on Mary Heron vs. Hannah vs. Great-Aunt Elizabeth at some point, hmm.
• When the dog gets threatened before the end of the first chapter, you know it’s probably going to be a bumpy ride.
